Eligibility Requirements

All members attending Inferno will require a valid Australian Passport with an expiry date of at least 18th July 2016 or later. If you hold a passport of a different nationality, please contact us before applying.

Leaders

  • Be a registered Leader holding a Certificate of Adult Leadership with Scouts Australia
  • Priority will be given to active Leaders of Youth within the Venturer section that also hold a Venturer Wood Badge.
  • Must be endorsed by your Group, District, Region and Chief Commissioner
  • Must be accepted by the Australian Contingent

Please note, all applications will be evaluated on their individual merits, and will not be automatically accepted. A strong focus will be placed on active leaders directly working with Venturers on a week to week basis. Team work is the very essence of Scouting and your ability to lead by example and engage with both youth and adults for the duration of the event is crucial.

Please note that all members joining the Australian Contingent are embassadors for Scouts Australian at an international event and are expected to behave to the highest standards.

The Contingent reserves the right to refuse any applications at any time.

Rovers

There will be very limited positions available for Rovers wishing to assist the Australian Contingent. Please contact the Deputy Contingent Leader for more information.

Applications will be open on the 15th of February 2015 and will close shortly afterwards. All applicants must register using the Australian Contingent's online port available here.
